Who doesn’t get tired in the middle of the day? I know I do sometimes. But grabbing a sugary soda or energy drink can actually be harmful to your health. Some of those drinks can raise your risk of blood clots – researchers at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit even linked drinking energy drinks to high blood pressure and increased heart rate so avoiding those drinks is probably a good idea.
